God will give us the tools we need to do His will. What a promise. To lean into that promise, we have to relinquish control and do His will. It is that part, that human part, that is so hard and that we fail at every day. But I am leaning into that promise, and trying to do what I believe is His will for me to do.
In the meantime, I lean into the knowledge that He works in mysterious ways, and I am strengthened by the promises and wisdom of the Scripture that keep hitting me.
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:6-9 NIV
